La Forge du Chêne Vert

Small things, made one at a time

A hammer striking an anvil. The sparks flying off are glowing programming symbols.
The forge, on a working night

There is a village. A campfire in the middle, a few tents around it, and an oak tree big enough to make everyone feel safe. Next to the oak, there is a forge.

The smith in there works on things nobody really understands. Every time the hammer comes down, sparks of code fly off the anvil.

I am not a smith by trade. I learned by hitting things until they worked, and I break a lot of them along the way.

A focus timer where someone walks

You start a session, you work, and a small traveller moves a little further down the road. They pick up a few coins on the way, and animals join them as they go.

You set one goal the day you open it. Months later you tick that goal off, and you know exactly what it cost you.

It is called Arpente, and you can walk it now.

Stories from the workshop

Every broken thing gets a story: what I got wrong, why I did not see it, and what it cost to put right.

Knock on the door

Something that annoys you every single week? The smith does not guess. He waits for someone to walk in and tell him.
